Meet Desiree Velasquez, a Le Tote loyalist who works in social services for the State of Illinois by day and is a lifestyle blogger by night. She is all about making every minute count, while wearing amazing outfits! She divides her time between Chicago and Spain, resulting in a personal style that is a mix of different influences and styles. Excerpts from a chat.
What do you love most about the service?
I absolutely love to shop but since I don’t always have the time, I count on Le Tote to keep my outfits looking fresh. My favorite LT feature is the fact that you can choose what goes in your tote. This is even more helpful if you have your eye on a particular look or need an outfit for a special event. I highly recommend browsing over the New Arrivals and adding pieces to your closet for upcoming totes.
What is your fashion philosophy?
I use fashion to express my mood and as a tool to feel empowered, confident, comfortable and beautiful. In my opinion, fashion is meant to fit you and your lifestyle and not the other way around. I would say that my style is a mix of different influences and styles, a combination of classic and trendy with a side of European sharpness.
As an influencer, tell us about your approach to Instagram?
My feed has images that are edited and sure, there’s some sponsored content in there too, but it’s all me. I don’t use PhotoShop, so what you see is what you get. Some days the lighting is favorable and makes me look like a babe. Some days the angle is all wrong and puts my wrinkles and under eye bags on full display. When it comes to sponsored content, I only post collaborations that are a right fit for me and my style.
