The spring edit

Spring has sprung and with it, so have the list of trends! We asked around at the LT office for some favorite trends (and Miranda Priestly please note: We haven’t included florals for spring!). Check out what we will be rocking this season:

The vibe: Bohemian Tribal

STEF C, DESIGN: “The mood this summer is boho-tribal. Effortless, simple clothes with jewelry and accessories to reflect the occasion and mood. Playfully mix and match patterns and throw on eclectic earrings and vintage neckpieces. Channel the boho vibe with loose- fitting capes — they are perfect with anything and are SO flattering!”

The print: Interesting stripes

ALEX M, CUSTOMER LOYALTY: “When It comes to summer fashion , stripes reign supreme over all other pattern trends. Any stripe mixed with white really helps colors pop for that extra beachy vibe. I love pieces that use color blocking and patterns to add a more interesting combination and take on the classic stripe. A mix of mini and bold stripes is always a good thing.”

The color palette: Serenity & Rose Quartz

CINDY H, TALENT ACQUISITION: “I always enjoy the arrival of spring if only to get me out of my mundane black and grey garb into something more inspiring! I always think of spring as a time for new beginnings so what better way than to celebrate the season with the Pantone colors of 2016 — Serenity and Rose Quartz have fresh written all over them!”

The accessory story: Layered necklaces

KAVITA S, DESIGN: “Whether you are a newbie or a seasoned fashionista, layering necklaces is the perfect finishing touch to your #ootd this spring. Pile it on like a pro. Here is where to begin your hunt for the right building blocks.”

The shape: Midi dresses

CLAIRE S, MERCHANDISING: “I am loving the midi length dress for spring! Perfect for hot summer days and chilly summer nights! Since I am short, its easy to wear this length with flats or heels!”
