The LT Confidence kit

We at Le Tote want to celebrate confidence. Because we believe that confidence is the key to everything that matters — from pulling off that Monday meeting or that tricky trend. We invite you to take part in our of our convo, start a dialogue, tag #iamCONFIDENCE and share what’s in your confidence kit by snapping a photo of what gives you a pop of confidence! Tag #iamconfidence and you could win a confidence kit from Le Tote!

To get you started, we asked three of our team members to share what goes inside their confidence kits:

PS: confidence kit, noun: An essential invisible bag that holds the key ingredients to give you the powers to nail the day no matter what it might entail

Toshiko, Stylist

A cup of tea. I like to start every day with a cup of hot tea. Jasmine green tea when I am on the run and Irish black tea with cream and honey if I am feeling fancy. It helps wake me up and get me ready for a busy day ahead.

My planner. I feel more confident and prepared when I have a plan. I am a really organized person and so a planner where I keep my schedule and jot down notes/thoughts is a must-have!

A camera. I take my camera everywhere I go because… you never know! As a blogger, photographs have become a big part of my life and capturing my #ootd and style is a perfect way to exude confidence!

Blush and tint. First impression is key therefore I like to look somewhat put together at all times! Sometimes I dress up and sometimes I dress down but either way, I always wear Benefit’s blush and tinted lip and cheek stain! It gives me that perfect amount of glow I need!

Jess, Customer Loyalty

My passport. Nothing makes me feel more confident than traveling — which I usually do by myself. When I look back at my passport and all the stamps and visas in it, it reminds me of how independent and badass I am.

My favorite (and first) perfume that I ever bought for myself. Purchased at the original Hermès on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, it’s my favorite scent and always reminds me of France. I feel confident when I know I smell like heaven.

My sunglasses. I love how I look in them, and they always make me feel like a rockstar.

My new journal. This is a project where I will write one line a day every day for 5 years. Not only does it help me reflect on my day but it also gives me something to look forward to and think about: How much I will have accomplished by the time I finish the journal

My set of angel cards. I choose one card every day as I’m getting ready in the morning, because they help me set an intention and focus for the day.

Jana, Marketing

My notebook. Opening up to my to-do list is not usually the most exciting part of my day, but I love the look of this notebook so much I find myself looking forward to crossing things off in it and jotting down important notes. Also, gold is my favorite color!

Sharpie pen. This is my must have writing utensil. To me, it has the perfect thickness and texture and you never have those annoying moments when you sporadically run out of ink.

A hair tie. I’ll admit it, I try to go as long as possible without washing my hair. This means I’m constantly having a less than stellar hair day. A quick bun or pony tail is my perfect antidote to any bad hair day.

Sneakers. I recently got into running and completed my first marathon this past fall. Nothing gets me more motivated to hit the pavement or trails than bright and loud running gear, starting with my feet.

My perfume. This is my special spritz. When I’m dragging or not loving the way I look or feel, a few sprays of this goes a long way. It’s fresh and feminine and has the ability to turn my mood around, giving me that extra boost of confidence before I face the day’s challenges.
