LT Ambassador Grace shows you how to plan a perfect evening to celebrate your loved ones at home:
If you’re like my family, you don’t want to fight the crowds at restaurants or find a sitter for Valentine’s Day. Instead, we have always celebrated the holiday together as a family. My husband hates crowds and I love having all of us together so it’s a win-win to stay home. I have put together some ideas around a movie date night in. I don’t want it to be any ol’ movie night because I love holidays and an excuse to celebrate love and togetherness! Here are some ideas!
Set out a decorative tray with goodies and snacks
Decorate with flowers
Spritz rose-scented room spray
Pull out cozy blankets
Create a collage. Swap prints out for printables or scrapbook paper. It’s fun and affordable. I also love having a wreath for each holiday.
PS: I found a teaware company called Grace’s Teaware Los Angeles and I am obsessed! I found two coordinating black and white sets so each of my kids have an individual teapot and saucer for hot cocoa. I found cute his and her mugs for my husband and I. I’m all about easy, no mess snacks. So I suggest, pop some corn, bake some cookies or snow ice cream (Here is an easy 5 minute recipe).
Now for the “date-night-in” look. I still want to dress up a bit while staying cozy, because after all it is a romantic holiday and I want to look good for my man so I chose this Le Tote sweater paired with leggings, LT stud earrings , cozy socks and slippers. I kept my hair, makeup and nails simple. Here are some more cozy date night style inspirations from LT. Happy Valentine’s Day! Use code Grace25 to start building your Le Tote wardrobe today!
