This week’s Style Share is a rarity— she’s a LE TOTE employee! When you write in to us for style tips or questions about the service, Lauren is one of the awesome voices on the other end! But that’s not all this fashionista is up to, Lauren is also an incredible ballet dancer, and she teaches ice-skating lessons! You can see her dancer side come out in how she paired our Edith Dress by Maison Scotch with a pair of leggings— and we love it!
Q: So Lauren, what’s your favorite LT piece?
A: Hard to choose, but I got a ton of compliments while wearing the Chelsea Overcoat.

Q: What’s the most exciting thing you’ve done while wearing LT?
A: I wore the East Village overcoat over a black and white chevron print dress when I went to see a Smuin Ballet production called Unlaced. Getting that in my tote was perfect timing!
Q: You obviously have great style, do you have a style icon? If so, why do you admire them?
A: I have always looked up to Chloe Sevigny for being a style trailblazer. Even her blunders have a certain panache. She can really do no wrong in my eyes.

Q: If you could give your fellow toter’s one piece of Style advice, what would it be?
A: Trends are great and fun, but I think they are too often taken too seriously or not personalized enough. Find a way to make them your own!
Q: What motivates you to dress up, why is good style important to you?
A: Having style, even if it’s not ‘good,’ is a way of letting others know who you are and what you stand for. You can say so much through fashion without saying a word.
