Style Share of the Week!

This week’s Style Share winner is both musical and fashionable. Jennie Lahlum spiced up our Axen Jacket with a statement pendant for a casual, edgy vibe.

Learning about this creative, activist oriented LT member was an inspiring experience.

Q: What is your favorite LT piece?

A: My favorite LT piece right now is the Sam Edelman Etched Pyramid Pendant necklace. Bold jewelry and accessories are my favorite way to bring an outfit together. I especially love accessories with a mystical/magical element.

Q: What’s the most exciting thing you have done while wearing LT?

A: I just received my second ever tote this week, so honestly the most exciting thing I’ve done so far is grab a weeknight cocktail with a friend.

Q: What do you do?

A: By day I work in educational equity, and by night I sing and play in a band called Warehouse Eyes. I’m playing a show this weekend, so I will most definitely be wearing a piece from LT.

Q: What’s your passion?

A: My first passion has always been writing and performing music. I feel most fulfilled when I put all my time and energy into the creative process. However, my evolving passion for social activism and the awareness of my own privilege as a white cis-gender woman have changed the way I navigate through my life on a daily basis. I am constantly challenging myself and my personal sphere of influence to question the status quo, ultimately to fight for the systemic equitable treatment of People of Color and the LGBTQ community in the US.

Q:  Where do you get your style inspiration from?

A: My style inspiration draws from decades of fashion trends, mixing and matching modern clothes with vintage/retro thrifted pieces. I also love to draw inspiration from blogs, street style, and runway couture. The first fashion blog I started reading was The Sartorialist, so sentimentality makes it my favorite.

Q: If you could ask LT one question, what would it be?

A: When are you coming out with a menswear version of LT?!

We get this question a lot actually! We love the idea of expanding to menswear, but we are a growing company and want to make the experience perfect for women before delving into menswear. So stay tuned!
