Congrats to Nora Hertsted for being this week’s Style Share winner! Nora is a Speech-Language Pathologist living in sunny Los Angeles, and this career woman’s got style. In her very first Style Share she grabbed our attention by pairing our Black Diamond Midi Skirt with our Lettie Top for a classy, flirty Valentines Day look!
Q: What is your favorite LT piece?
A: I have a huge list of favorite LeTote pieces. So, in boiling it down, I came up with the following: My favorite piece I NEVER would have picked out for myself was the BB Dakota Tallis Dress. My favorite piece for looks and sentimental value was the French Connection Romanov Top. My favorite piece that not only gets random people asking where I got it, but that I have worn the most, is the BB Dakota BB Mags Military Jacket.
Q: Where was the most exciting place you’ve worn an LT piece?
A: Wearing the Romanov Top during my 40th birthday weekend NYC celebration with my best gal pals, made me feel 27 again. More recently, I had a wonderful time attending the LeTote in L.A. Glam Squad makeover event wearing the casually chic Lost April Josie Embroidery Tank. Receiving a tank top in my last Tote was unexpectedly perfect for the unusually warm February we have been having.
Q: What’s Your Passion?
A: Finding Pink Unicorns. Literally and figuratively. Figuratively, finding a Pink Unicorn means making the best of any situation, making the ordinary extraordinary, celebrating tiny wins and things turning out to be better or easier than you expected them to be. (I blog about it at www.findingpinkunicorns.com) I’m also working on a speech-language therapy book series for children of a similar title.
Q: Where do you find fashion inspiration from?
A: I find fashion inspiration from my younger self, like wearing the adult versions of my favorite style elements of 4th grade (original CLOGS! with wooden soles! and Unicorns!). I also find inspiration from the LeTote blog, LeTote inventory online, and other fashion-lifestyle blogs. Lastly, I like to keep it old school by tearing outfit ideas and concepts from magazines and catalogues (and get made fun of for doing so).
Q: If you would go anywhere in the world while wearing LT, where would you go and what would you wear?
A: Not original, but as my husband says, Paris seems to always be on my mind. I would wear the Pink Collective Concepts Lexi Mod Dress and find some stylish yet comfortable shoes to explore the city in from sunrise till after sunset. I would make sure to get to the Angelina Cafe across from the Louvre in the morning, Monmartre during the day, and maybe end up in the Marais or Latin Quarter for dinner and drinks at night.
